  • Ciao-Games

Who are we?

Ciao Games is looking for a data-savvy analyst/engineer hybrid to take ownership of the full data lifecycle across our published casual and hybrid-casual mobile titles. You will build the data infrastructure from the ground up, create insightful dashboards and reports, support game teams with actionable insights and help us scale our data-driven publishing operations.

What will you do?

Data Engineering & Infrastructure

  • Design, implement, and maintain the data pipelines for mobile games (event ingestion, transformation, storage).

  • Set up integrations and dashboard with tools like GameAnalytics, Firebase, Singular, Looker Studio, BigQuery, etc.

  • Monitor data accuracy, schema consistency, and resolve data quality issues.

  • Build and own the data platform maintenance, alerting, versioning, and documentation.

Analytics & Insights

  • Build and maintain real-time dashboards for KPIs (retention, LTV, ARPDAU, churn, conversion, etc.).

  • Perform deep-dive analyses to identify bottlenecks in progression, monetization, engagement, and player behavior.

  • Generate weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable PM/Studio/UA insights.

  • Run ad-hoc investigations based on stakeholder requests (e.g., post-release performance drop, A/B test results).

Game Support

  • Collaborate closely with PMs, UA team and studios to define tracking specs and event structures for new games.

  • Evaluate early prototypes and soft-launched titles from a data perspective to flag red signals or potential.

  • Partner with UA to track campaign effectiveness and match in-game behavior with offerwall marketing cohorts.

What will you need?

Required:

  • 2-4 years experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar in the mobile gaming industry.

  • Strong skills in SQL, BigQuery, or other cloud data warehouses.

  • Experience with analytics tools like Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or custom dashboards (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude).

  • Deep understanding of mobile game KPIs (retention, ARPU, ARPDAU, LTV, funnel analysis, etc.).

  • Familiarity with event-based data tracking frameworks in mobile games.

  • Comfortable owning both engineering and analytics aspects of the data stack.

Bonus:

  • Hands-on experience with game data analytics tools, Firebase, or Singular similar tools.

  • Python for scripting or lightweight ETL.

  • Familiarity with A/B testing analysis and segmentation logic.

  • Experience working with hybrid-casual or casual games in publishing or development context.

We offer a permanent contract. Salary will depend on actual experience and knowledge.
